The fourth annual Australian Beer Festival will be held in Sydney’s historic Rocks this weekend (October 25 and 26).

The two-day event will showcase more than 100 Australian beers from 22 brewers from around the country.
The festival will stretch from the Australian Hotel to the Glenmore Hotel, with more than 4000 beer enthusiasts expected each day to sample the range of beers.

Brewers from Matilda Bay, Bluetongue and Chuck Hahn will speak from the rooftop about various topics, including brewing techniques and how to match food with beer.

The festival will also feature live entertainment with a two-piece acoustic band and the opportunity to meet the drummer of the Australian band The Vines, Hamish Rosser, who will be on-hand to showcase his own beer, Skinny Blonde.

The beer festival runs from midday to 8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free with $5 tasting cups and $10 tasting tickets, which includes 10 beer samples.
