Tamborine Mountain Distillery – the most awarded small-batch distillery in the country – has done it again, taking home a gold and a silver medal at the highly coveted San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The Queensland distillery was awarded a gold medal for its Wattle Toffee liqueur and a silver medal for its Hibiscus Liqueur.

Hibiscus Liqueur is the fruit of the first Australian collaboration effort between a distiller and bartender that has already received a number of accolades in the international award circuit. It has an ABV of 20 per cent and retails for $25.

“To win an award at the San Francisco Spirit Competition is monumental as it is one of the most highly regarded international spirit awards in the world,” said Tamborine Mountain Distillery brand manager, Mannuel Terron. “And to give a medal to brand new products that have just been developed is an amazing result.”
