Wine buffs will have the opportunity to enjoy some of Tasmania’s leading wines at tasting events this week in Sydney and Brisbane.

More than 100 wines from 28 producers will be offered, including world class sparkling and Pinot Noir along with selected cool climate Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The events will cost $45 per head with the option of an hourlong master class for $40 per head. The master class will focus on Tasmanian Pinot Noir and will be conducted by high profile winemakers.

Event organiser Wine Industry Tasmania is the peak body representing Tasmania’s grape growers and winemakers.

The Sydney event will be held at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Monday (September 1). The Brisbane event will be held at City Hall on Wednesday (September 3).
