For the seventh year, the Harlequin Inn in Pyrmont is entering the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon being held this Sunday, with one of its biggest teams yet.

More than 60 entrants will be running in Team Harlequin t-shirts, raising money for the Breast Cancer Network.

Coming in sixth overall in the Corporate Teams Division last year, Team Harlequin is looking to improve on that position in this year’s event.

In order to achieve this, the Harlequin Inn has recruited elite runners Alistair Flower and Dan Brady, of the NLG Hotel Group.

“In an industry constantly dogged with negative reports regarding alcohol, it’s great to be able to encourage such an event among staff and patrons,” said Nick Tindall, founder of the team and owner of the Harlequin Inn, Pyrmont.

The Half Marathon starts at 7.30am this Sunday (May 19).
