Australia's fashion industry will toast the country's top designers with wines from Tempus Two at this year's Mercedes-Benz Australian Fashion Week.

The Hunter Valley-based winery has signed on for the very first time as the official wine partner of Australia's leading fashion event, taking over from the Rosemount label, which also held naming rights for the event in addition to being the official wine sponsor.

Tempus Two's distributor, Australian Vintage Limited, said there is natural synergy between the Tempus Two label and the Australian fashion industry and the event will offer a global platform with which to showcase the Tempus Two portfolio.

"Like a fashion label, Tempus Two is a brand built on foundations of quality, creativity and innovation. Tempus Two has had a long-standing relationship with Australian fashion designers and we love giving back to the industry when we can," said Kate Kriven, Tempus Two senior brand manager.

"There is a combination of style, substance and elegance in our wines. They showcase familiar and new varietals in dramatic, innovative packaging which harmonises with the creativity of the talented Australian and visiting international designers."

Tempus Two will be pouring its Copper and Varietal ranges during Mercedes-Benz Australian Fashion Week, which takes place between Monday, 30 April and Friday, 4 May at The Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney.
