After months of casting sessions and auditions across the country, SouthTrade in association with Agwa de Bolivia has chosen a bartender to play the leading role in The Bolivian Job.

Earlier this year, SouthTrade called on bartenders around the country to join the cast of The Bolivian Job and put their skills to the test in a blockbuster signature cocktail contest to capture the essence of Agwa de Bolivia.

Bartenders from across the country were invited to register their Agwa cocktails online. The best cocktail entry from each State was then chosen for the final round, with the public voting online for their favourite cocktail recipe.

With his winning Martini (pictured) Kevin Peters, formerly from Curve and now residing at Lo-Fi/The Standard, beat Matt Nethercote from Manhattan Bar, Dimitri Rtshiladze from Malt Supper Club, Monnie Place from Cushdy and Camille Vidal from Golden Monkey, to take home the title and walk away with the $2000 prize.

The cocktail entries of each State finalist, as well as the two State runner ups, will feature in a Signature Cocktail booklet to be published in the November / December issue of bars&clubs magazine.

“Congratulations to the creator of the favourite Agwa Bolivian Job cocktail and winner for the $2000 cash reward; Kevin Peters. SouthTrade International and Agwa would like to thank everyone who participated in the Bolivian Job this year,” the company said.

Make sure you contact your SouthTrade representative or keep checking the website; www.agwabolivianjob.com.au  to find out the audition process for The Bolivian Job season 2, 2012.
