Two armed men with t-shirts wrapped around their heads stole liquor and a cash tin from a drive-through bottle shop attached to a tavern in Richlands last Sunday. They fled on foot. One offender is described as 175cm tall, Caucasian and of medium build. The other is described as 180cm tall of slim build with a dark complexion. CCTV images of the incident have been distributed by police.   

A 55 year-old man and a 23 year-old woman were charged with multiple offences after being refused entry into a club in Fortitude Valley on Sunday morning. The man was charged with obstructing police, refusing eviction and unlawful entry, while the woman was charged with assaulting police and obstructing police.

A man armed with a large carving knife robbed a BWS Liquor Store in Mermaid Waters last Sunday night. No one was injured during the incident. The offender is described as 170cm tall of thin build. He wore blue surgical gloves during the robbery.

Three people were charged for possessing drugs following a search of a Toowoomba nightclub last Saturday evening. One man was found with seven grams of cocaine, and a quantity of cannabis, cannabis plants and cash were later seized from his address. Two other men were found with cannabis and LSD. All three are to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court next week.

Canberra nightclub owner Maurizo Rao will have to wait one more week to find out whether Justice Malcolm Gray will find him guilty of fatally stabbing Nato Seuala during a brawl outside the Cube nightclub in July 2006. Rao has admitted stabbing Seuala in the stomach, but not the head. The prosecution has argued Rao was the original aggressor while defence council told the court Rao acted in self-defece and that nobody had witnessed the fatal blow.

Two men and a woman were charged with aggravated assault on Monday following an attack on a 33-year-old man in a Katherine hotel on January 11. The victim was allegedly punched in the head by a 23-year-old man. A 19-year-old man then joined in the attack, punching the victim to the ground before the two proceeded to kick him. Three more offenders participated in the beating, only one of whom has been identified by police. The three suspects have been charged with aggravated assault and bailed to appear in the Katherine Court on 17 March.

Three men armed with machetes and wearing masks attempted to rob the Regents Park Sporting Club while 50 members of the Southern Cross motorcycle club were meeting there on Wednesday night. The offenders ordered patrons to lie on the ground and approached the bar but were stopped by a number of bikers before fleeing the scene. One man was restrained in the car park by bikers until police arrived, while a second was later located by police a few blocks from the tavern. The offenders were each charged with assault with intent to rob while armed with an offensive weapon. The third offender fled the scene in a vehicle and remains at large.
