Think Spirits today announced it has signed a long-term agreement with Casa Cuervo to distribute tequila brands 1800 Tequila, Gran Centenario Tequila and Agavero Tequila Liqueur throughout Australia.
Jose Cuervo Group's regional director of Asia Pacific, Ian Strachan said: "We have great confidence in Think Spirits' ability to drive volume growth for these three super premium brands as they have a proven track record as a leading distributor for super premium spirits and liqueurs in Australia. Think Spirits’ focus in Australia will be to build trade support for the three iconic super premium tequilas.
"At the same time, we maintain a strong and positive relationship with Diageo Australia who will retain responsibility for our core range of Jose Cuervo brands."
Diageo Australia will continue to manage the sales, marketing and distribution of Jose Cuervo premium tequila brands including Especial Reposado, Especial Silver, Tradicional Reposado, Reserva Platino and Reserva de la Familia and Cuervo Margarita Mix 1L.
