Thirsty Camel Victoria has recorded strong results for the 2021 financial year, with total business growth up 15.5 per cent.

General Manager Adrian Moelands told The Shout the company is pleased to be able to celebrate highlights after a hard year.

“In a challenging environment for our industry, we are grateful for the growth we have achieved, supporting our members remained the number one priority throughout the year” he said.  “In Q2 and Q4, we paid double rebates to all members.  We have also provided financial support for our core range and extended range for every member, to ensure our stores are capitalising on the latest trends in the market.”

This year saw the launch of the Thirsty Camel Victoria e-commerce platform. This advanced platform will continue to remain a focus as Thirsty Camel further invests in the platform to drive value for members and convenience for consumers.

Another exciting initiative that contributed to promising performance in the growth over the past year was the evolution of the Hump Club loyalty program, which increased new customers by 50 per cent on the previous year and continues to drive value for Thirsty Camel retailers via an ever-growing loyal customer base.

Marketing strategies will continue to drive growth in the new financial year, with a stronger focus on a range of digital platforms to elevate the brand’s presence with the help of innovative targeted promotions. Moelands said maintaining and improving marketing initiatives like this will: “ensure Thirsty Camel remains the leader in driving convenience and attract a new demographic of shoppers with the assistance of our improved product range.”
