Time Out Sydney’s sister publication, Time Out Melbourne, has this week (Dec 6-10) launched its new-look website just in time for the festive season.

Updated daily, the new site features an updated layout including added functionality such as searches and social integration.

It also feeds event and venue reviews to Nokia Ovi Maps and publishes a weekly newsletter.

Time Out Sydney marketing and online director Julian Peterson, said that he was delighted to have finally launched in Melbourne.

“We are building a team of local writers and reviewers who are hard at work discovering the best of Melbourne’s arts, entertainment, nightlife and food,” he said.

“The site is live in beta and we are actively seeking views and comments from users as we proceed with an intensive period of development. There are a mass of new features to go live over the coming months.”

In addition, a Time Out Melbourne and Smirnoff iPhone application is in development, on the back of the recent successful launch of the Sydney iphone app.

Similar Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide sites are expected to be rolled out over the next six months.
