Tickets are still available for the final of the Time Out Shakedown, a winner-takes-all battle royale between Sydney and Melbourne's most brilliant bartenders.

The final will be held at The Standard in Sydney on Monday June 18, with Sydney's Brendan Keown (The Hazy Rose) and Simon McGoram (Gardel's Bar) set to do battle with Melbourne's Evan Stanley (Black Pearl) and Jacob Taylor (Lily Blacks) while Neilsen Braid (Rockpool Bar & Grill at The Standard) defends his hard won 2011 title.

The bartenders will use Southtrade International spirits such as Patron Silver tequila, Agwa de Bolivia, Alize Pomegranate, Green Fairy Absinth, Buffalo Trace, Pusser’s Rum, Hayman’s London Dry and Ultimat Vodka, mixed with elixirs from the Coca-Cola Amatil range.

The audience at the final will decide the winner. Tickets are $40 and include a cocktail by each of the finalists, as well as Sunshack ciders and snacks care of Grill'd, Lindt and Gelatissimo.

There is also the chance to win lucky door prizes including cocktail books care of Murdoch and bar gadgets thanks to Uber Bar Tools.
