Time Out Sydney, in conjunction with Southtrade, will host the Shakedown cocktail finals on Monday, June 27, pitting five of Sydney’s top bartenders against each other in a winner-take-all battle to see who can shake the best cocktail.

The five Shakedown finalists are Lee Potter Cavanagh from The Victoria Room, Nielsen Braid from Gardel’s Bar, Max Greco from Eau de Vie, Ben McFarlane from Rockpool Bar and Grill, and Matteo Fabbris from Stitch.

The finals will be held at The Loft, kicking off at 7pm, and there are a limited number of tickets are available for the public to come down and witness the competitors going head to head.

Guests will be invited to try the competitors’ cocktails and will vote to decide on the winner.

Apart from complimentary cocktails, there will also be a fair share of wine, beer and food to enjoy, in addition to sultry performances from Holly J'aDoll and Bella Pistol, as well as DJs keeping the crowd pumping.

"A good bartender is more than just a mixer of drinks – they're a host, social worker and sin doctor rolled in one,” Time Out publisher, Angus Fontaine, said.

“The Time Out Shakedown on June 27 will show off five of the best Sydney sip technicians going toe-to-toe in one big night, aiming to out-mix, out-muddle and out-muscle each other. May the best cocktail win!”
