Tooheys New has signed a four-year on-field sponsorship deal with the Sydney Roosters.

The deal entitles Tooheys New to a prominent position on the top banks at the Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club in Bondi Junction as well as pouring rights in key Roosters venues for the wider Lion Nathan portfolio. The deal will also see Tooheys New logos on the team’s on-field apparel.

Tooheys has also taken on marquee sponsorship of Roosters footballer Braith Anasta, who was selected because of his image as a “strong and responsible” role model. Anasta will appear at key brand events and work as a brand ambassador for the beer.

Lion Nathan regional sales director – Tooheys NSW, Matt Tapper, said they were proud of the association with the NRL club and hope the deal assists the Roosters succeed in the competition.

“The Sydney Roosters are a strategic fit with Tooheys New and we are looking forward to working with the club, and in particular Braith Anasta, as representatives of Tooheys New,”  he said.
