The NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing has released its latest list of the State's top performing venues in gaming.

Sixteen of the top 20 venues remain unchanged, with Canley Heights' El Cortez re-adjusting from number three to number one, now under the banner of the newly re-formed Redcape Property Group, which purchased the majority of the former National Leisure & Gaming (NLG) hotels.

Also in Canley Heights, the Canley Heights Hotel is the list's biggest performer, moving up 24 places to become number 12.

The nearby Three Swallows Hotel in Bankstown fell the furthest, dropping 13 places to scrape into the top 20 at number 19.

The Greenfield Tavern, which recently changed hands for close to $30 million, came in at number 15.
