The Brewers Association in the US has revealed its top 50 craft brewers based on beer sales volumes.

The association, which is a not-for-profit group which represents small and craft brewers in the US, has also revealed the country's overall top 50 brewers. That list shows the huge growth of craft in the US as 43 of the country's top 50 brewers by sales are craft.

Bart Watson, chief economist with the Brewers Association, said: "The top US brewers continue to drive demand, growth, innovation and exponential interest in beers from small and independent brewers.

"With a historic record number of breweries in the US, the top brewers continue to open new markets and expose beer drinkers to a variety of fuller-flavoured styles and offerings."
