Digital media company TorchMedia will launch a new in-store digital medium in Sydney this week that allows liquor advertisers to speak directly with millions of consumers.

The in-store advertising platform consists of LCD screens powered by Flash technology and featuring branded content along with localised news, sports, weather and community service announcements.

The launch will take place on Thursday (September 18) at 6:00pm at the Senate Bar at 1 Martin Place.

"We’re really looking forward to the official launch on Thursday evening which will see members from across the liquor industry join together in celebration of this new medium," said TorchMedia marketing director, Kirsty Dollisson. “"With a great venue, great band, good food, chilled beverages and great company the night is set to be entertaining for all."

Comedian Anh Do will host the evening with consumer behaviour expert Norrelle Goldring providing insights into the behaviour of the Australian liquor shopper.

Attendees will also have the chance to win $1000 worth of door prizes and an in-store advertising campaign worth $20,000.
