Hospitality supplier Trenton has acquired a polycarbonate drinkware manufacturer in a move to strengthen its hold on the emerging category.
Trenton International is a family owned Sydney-based company that ships premium hospitality products around Australia and the globe.
It has just bought Polysafe (Pty Ltd), which produces “virtually unbreakable” drinkware for licensed venues, in recognition of the emerging significance of this class of product.
“The acquisition of Polysafe is a fantastic fit for our business,” said Trenton director, Colin Reiner. “Polysafe is the leader in the polycarb industry, and its premium products are a great addition to the extensive Trenton range.”
Polysafe was formed in 2009 by directors Paul Parks and Christian Woznica. Its products are made from high quality food-grade polycarbonate, and the company claims they importantly “look and feel like the real glass equivalent”.
Polysafe director Paul Parks told TheShout: “Joining forces with Trenton international is a no brainer for us, and we are excited to see where Trenton will take this category.”
