The Light Bridge hotel in the Sydney suburb of Woollahra is celebrating National Burger Day this Saturday by bringing back its famous ‘Trufflenator’ burger.

Originating from the Bayfield Hotels' sister pub, the Dee Why Hotel, the Trufflenator offers consumers the combination of a classic Wagyu beef patty, crispy bacon, American cheddar, crunchy onion rings, teamed with a variation of rare fungus to create truffle mayo, truffle butter, truffle infused Havarti cheese and truffle maple syrup, all between a soft Japanese milk bun.

Dee Why Hotel’s Head Chef and creator of the Trufflenator, Brad Johnston will be onsite alongside The Light Brigade’s Executive Chef Marco Adler, to ensure every single burger created is made to perfection.

The Trufflenator will be available at the Light Brigade's ground level Brigade Bar from 11.30am to 4.30pm for $21 and tickets can be purchased in advance from the Light Brigade's website.
