The Boathouse Tavern and Treetops Tavern on the Gold Coast have both been put up for sale.
The Boathouse is being sold under instructions from Receiver Justin Walsh of Ernst and Young and will be sold via an expressions of interest campaign managed by Ray White Hotels Australia.
Meanwhile the Treetops Tavern is being sold by the Sydney-based Thomas Hotels Group. The Treetops is the group's sole Queensland hotel and has a "prominent position on 7000sqm of land", which is 'centre' zoned.
The Treetops, which is being sold by the JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group, also features "45 highly performing gaming machines" and a "large on-site retail barn and dual lane drive through".
Any expressions of interest in the Treetops should be directed to either Paul Fraser or John Musca at JLL.
The Boathouse is famous for the 40-foot Riviera cruiser (pictured), which is situated in its main bar. According to Ray White Hotels’ Tony Bargwanna, “anyone who enjoys the water, fishing or boating has an affinity with ‘The Boathouse’. Everyone wants to have a beer around the boat. It’s a tick off the bucket list for locals, tourists, themeâ€park visitors and of course, boaties.”
The Boathouse also features 40 gaming machines, the Waterfire Restaurant and Bar as well as a drive-through bottle shop.
With a seven-day licence from 10.00am to 2.00am, Ray White Hotels’ Leon Alaban said: “The Boathouse Tavern is cash-flow solid and has massive organic growth upside from the surrounding residential, retail and tourism development.
"It is smack-bang in Gold Coast’s residential, retail and tourism growth zone and whilst other competing hotels in the area are established, none of them are as unique as the Boathouse Tavern."
Expressions of interest in the Boathouse should be made to either Tony Bargwanna or Leon Alaban of Ray White Hotels Australia.
