U’Luvka reconjures the spirit of a legendary vodka created by a famous alchemist at the court of King Sigismund III of Poland in the late 16th Century. The fashion at court was to drink vodka from glasses without bases. Once filled, these ‘legless’ glasses could not be put down until the entire contents had been drunk.
In a bid to prevent affairs of state from grinding to a halt due to overindulgence, the King and Queen commissioned their court alchemist Sendivogius to create a spirit of such exceptional balance and purity that the court might continue to make their traditional toasts by night and run the country effectively by day.
U’Luvka Vodka has been meticulously created using the finest Rye, Wheat and Barley by one of Poland’s foremost modern alchemists. It is carefully distilled three times to ensure strength, purity and smoothness, while retaining character, body and depth of flavour. U’Luvka Vodka is available through the Independent channel (RRP $69) and through the Tappoo Duty Free Group in Fiji, in 700ml at 40% ABV. U’Luvka will also be launching their 1L bottle and 100ml miniature giftboxes in Australia early in the new year.
