Uncorked Restaurant at the Union Hotel in North Sydney has taken out the award for Best Restaurant in a Pub at the 2010 Savour Australia Restaurant and Catering NSW Metropolitan Awards for Excellence.

The awards ceremony was held at the Sydney Convention Centre on Monday (Oct 11), and saw the Union Hotel go one better after being a finalist in the same category last year.

Celebrating the dedication of group executive chef, Ronny Ghantous, and head chef, David Little, the team were 'pumped' at the recognition of their dedication to service and quality.

Uncorked Restaurant incorporates seasonal ingredients and a French influence to its Modern Australian menu.

Uncorked is situated on the first floor of the award-winning Union Hotel, which won the Venue Renovation Award at the 2008 Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA).
