Leading US disk jockey DJ AM played to a capacity crowd at Sydney’s Hugos Lounge last night, followed by a private set at the exclusive bar SShh.

“DJ AM definitely lived up to the hype, with none of the DJs scheduled to play after him wanting to go on,” said Hugo’s patron, Nelly O’Ryan.

DJ AM is in Sydney as part of a promotional tour for the ten-year anniversary celebrations of Serato Audio Research, a New Zealand-based company specialising in recording plug-ins and Digital DJ software.

DJ AM will also play a free gig at 8:00pm tomorrow at Club 77 in East Sydney, along with DJs Kato, PhDJ, Vivienne Kingswood, Tha Fizz, Sleater Brockman and Bad Ezzy.
