Spirits importer, Vanguard Luxury Brands has added two award-winning bartenders to its sales team in response to the business growth and portfolio expansion the company has experienced this year.

The two new additions to the Vanguard Luxury Brands family – Mechanics' Institute bar manager Ben Tua from Perth and Steve McDermott, manager of Brisbane venue The Bowery – will be working on a part-time basis for the company and expand its interstate reach.

"The business is growing rapidly and we need some help from the best in the business. We are very lucky to have these guys on board. Along with our existing rock stars, that makes Vanguard officially the best company in any industry in the world," joked Vanguard Luxury Brands director, James France.

According to France, the company has been enjoying very strong growth over the last couple of years, in particular with its St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Calle 23 tequila and Flor de Caña rum brands.

"The growth is increasing rapidly with the recent addition of Stolen Rum and the imminent arrival of Regal Rogue vermouth and High West rye whiskies," he said.

"Further expansion is on the cards both in terms of new brands and staff to support the growing business. We are very grateful to our loyal customers and to the Vanguard team who make all of this happen."
