With anticipation building and just over one week to go until Conor McGregor’s boxing debut against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jnr, the undercard has been announced for the pay-per-view event.

With two preliminary fights before the MAIN EVENT card kicks off, it promises to be a bonanza day for venues.

Fox Sports will be broadcasting the two preliminary fights from 9am AEST on Fox Sports 501, that feature two undefeated fights and a former World Champion in Shawn Porter.

Then from 11am AEST on MAIN EVENT, the pay-per-view with three bouts including two world titles and then the big one we’ve all been waiting for – Mayweather vs McGregor.

The undercard headline event will see Mayweather’s protégé, Gervonta Davis put his IBF junior lightweight title and his 18-0 unbeaten record on the line against Francisco Fonseca of Costa Rica.

Fox Sports Venues national pay-per-view manager, Japhy Duldig, told TheShout: “The hype and interest around this event is unprecedented. This fight has all of Australia talking about whether UFC Lightweight Champion and superstar Conor McGregor can make history and beat the undefeated, five-division World Champion Floyd Mayweather Jnr.”

“With an action-packed undercard of fights before the big one, we highly recommend venues open early and get full of fans wanting to come in and make a day of it. This is one of those must see events for fans and for our venues a chance to have a huge trading day.”

Duldig added that it is not too late to subscribe to the Mayweather vs McGregor pay-per-view event and venues should contact their Main Event pay-per-view provider for information on how to book this event.
