The FOX SPORTS Grand Final specials will begin tonight (Sep 28) when NRL on FOX makes the last stop on its whirlwind finals roadshow, which has seen the team broadcast live from a number of FOX SPORTS venues.

Host Ryan Phelan and former internationals Laurie Daley, Gary Freeman and Wendell Sailor will deliver their final show of the season in front of a LIVE audience at the King Street Brewhouse in Darling Harbour tonight from 7.30pm.

FOX SPORTS Venues director of Commercial and Sales, Sarah Keith, said the NRL on FOX roadshow had been a resounding success in helping publicans and venue owners maintain and attract new patronage.

"Over the last two weeks, we’ve seen participating venues attract hundreds of fans to be part of the live audience, with strong revenue and no security issues whatsoever,” she said.

Tonight’s panel will break down the decider alongside special guests and premiership winners Brett Kimmorley and Braith Anasta, plus former Queensland hard man and Warriors 2002 Grand Finalist Kevin Campion.

The show will also feature an interview with star Sea Eagles five-eighth Kieran Foran and an appearance by one of the Warriors who will run out in Sunday’s decider.

On Thursday morning both Grand Final teams will make their final public appearance before the decider at the traditional Grand Final breakfast, which will be screened live on FOX SPORTS from 7.30am.

Saturday night will see Grand Final fever continuing to build on FOX SPORTS with a 90-minute edition of The League Lounge.

Warren Smith and his regular sidekicks Greg Alexander, Brendan Cowell, James Mathison and Renee Gartner will offer a fun and altogether different take on rugby league’s showpiece event.

The big red lounge has seen its share of stars this season and the best has been saved for last with a long list of special guests set to appear on Saturday night.

Representing the Sea Eagles will be club legend and premiership player Mark ‘Spudd’ Carroll, while weighing in for the Warriors will be their number one fan ‘The Mad Butcher’, Sir Peter Leitch.

Broadcasting legend and funny man HG Nelson will also be on board, before singer/songwriter and rugby league tragic Pete Murray joins the show to perform a special acoustic rendition of his new hit single ‘Always a Winner’.

FOX SPORTS’ Grand Final coverage comes to a head on Sunday, with live coverage of the Toyota Cup decider between the Warriors and Cowboys from 1.45pm AEDT on FOX SPORTS 2HD & FOX SPORTS 2.

This will be followed by a high definition screening of the 2011 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final between the Sea Eagles and Warriors from 7.30pm AEDT.
