Maker’s Mark vice-president of operations, Victoria Macrae-Samuels, has sent her best wishes for the festive season direct from the Maker’s Mark distillery in Kentucky.

Her message, delivered to TheShout on a recent visit to the bourbon homeland, coincides with the launch of the Maker’s Mark Christmas advertising campaign in Australia, which positions Maker’s Mark as the perfect handmade gift.

Beam Global Australia’s bourbon category brand director, Ray Noble, said the campaign will be centered around bottleshops and depicts a bottle of Maker’s Mark wrapped in a bow of its signature red wax.

“Christmas is a time when consumers might prefer to look for handmade, high-quality gifts that carry a sense of sentimental value, however many of us still begin our Christmas shopping without knowing exactly what we are going to buy,“ he said.

"This campaign not only communicates that Maker’s Mark is a fantastic Christmas gift idea because of its high quality and handcrafted attributes, but that it is also readily available to purchase from your local liquor store.”
