The GABS Hottest 100 poll for 2023, which is asking Australia’s craft beer lovers to pick their five favourite brews from the last 12 months, closes this weekend.

Last year’s poll saw over 60,000 voters select an incredible 2140 different beers, with Mountain Culture’s Status Quo Pale Ale coming out on top, with the top three rounded out by two previous poll winners in Balter Brewing’s XPA and BentSpoke Brewing Co Crankshaft IPA.

In addition to the main Hottest 100 list, GABS also releases the Hottest Indie Beers, Hottest New Beers, and Hottest Next Beers (101-200) of the year.

First Choice Liquor Market (FCLM) is a platinum sponsor of this year’s poll and Head of FCLM Michael Bornholdt said: “We’re excited to get behind the GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beer countdown as the platinum sponsor for a second year.

“With more than 140 different craft beers in every one of our 97 stores around the country, we’re passionate about supporting the category and ensuring all Aussies can enjoy some of the brews competing in this year’s competition.

“We’re looking forward to seeing this year’s finalists and encourage everyone to vote for their favourite craft beer.”

Voting is now open through the GABS Hottest 100 website, and closes on 14 January.
