Lovers of Australian craft beer are being encouraged to nominate their favourite brews of the year in The Local Taphouse's 2014 Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers poll.
The poll began as a bit of fun for staff and customers at Sydney and Melbourne craft beer venues, The Local Taphouse, in 2008.
Now proudly supported by Crafty Pint and Australian Brews News, the annual poll attracts thousands of beer lovers of all persuasions.
There will be almost 60 official venues running events around the country to count down the results on Australia Day.
Guy Greenstone from The Local Taphouse comments: "From very humble beginnings, the poll is becoming a great national celebration of Aussie craft beer with venues, beer lovers and breweries all joining in. The poll itself is not very scientific and shouldn't be taken too seriously, but it's lot of fun for all involved."
