Margaret River winery Voyager Estate has revamped its cellar door offering with the addition of an innovative new tasting room.

Voyager Estate's Wine Room offers visitors a complete wine experience from a seated tasting of different flights of wine through to education sessions and vineyard tours.

Voyager Estate's cellar door manager, Janine Carter, said she believes the Wine Room experience will help to enhance the way visitors view wine tourism.

"We understand that when you're exploring a wine region you don't necessarily want to be 'cellar door hopping' – bustling at the counter or having to navigate through a large selection of wines," said Carter.

"Our new Wine Room completely changes the way you can develop an appreciation of wine. Visitors will be able to discover our wines, learn about the winemaking process and explore Margaret River by choosing a wine tasting experience that suits their interest and the time they have."

The opening of the Wine Room follows extensive planning and renovation of the Voyager Estate site.
