Michael Hope from Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley has warned other Australian wine producers in this video exclusive to TheShout.com.au that they need to work together on the world stage as other countries like South Africa and Portugal are marketing very aggressively.

Speaking on his importer’s stand at the ProWein exhibition in Dusseldorf, Hope said the Australian presence needed to be less fractured and more organised if it was going to fend off aggressive marketing investments and promotional campaigns from countries such as South Africa and Portugal.
