New Zealand’s Waipara Hills winery is making a determined push into the Australian market, following the appointment of distributors in South Australia and Western Australia.
The Waipara Hills brand, which has vineyards in the Waipara Valley, Marlborough, and Central Otago, will be distributed by Porter & Co. Wine Merchants in South Australia and the Northern Territory, and by Epicure Sales & Marketing in Western Australia.
Waipara Hills already has a distribution agreement in place with Fesq & Company for Australia’s eastern states.
Waipara Hills’ marketing manager, Cathy Wansink, said the appointment of distributors in SA and WA is the next logical step for the brand following its steady growth in the Australian market.
“The teams from both Porter & Co. and Epicure Sales & Marketing are perfect partners for Waipara Hills. They focus on offering regional wines with each brand having a distinctive fit within their portfolios,” Wansink explained.
“The high level of customer service and experience that these businesses have gives us great confidence that the brand’s success in the eastern markets will be emulated in these very wine knowledgeble markets.”
Both new distribution partners will carry the full portolio of Waipara Hills wines.
