Just in time for the summer, White Claw has made a tropical addition to its range: a new pineapple flavour.

White Claw Brand Director, Ed Jamison, said the new release responded to research suggesting RTD drinkers were thirsting for extra flavours.

“We wanted to continue White Claw’s momentum over summer with a limited edition drop of Pineapple. Tropical flavours are trending at the moment and 56 per cent of RTD drinkers say that new flavour releases are the most important factor in keeping them interested,” Jamison explained.

“We’ve heard what the people want! That’s why we’re releasing the ultimate summer flavour in White Claw Pineapple, made for long weekends, hot afternoons, sunset sessions and good times with mates all summer long. “

White Claw Pineapple is made with triple distilled spirit, ‘a hint of natural pineapple’ and sparkling water. Each can is gluten free, and is only 95 calories, while the seltzer itself is described as ‘juicy, tropical and sessionable.’

Jamison also explained how White Claw has capitalised upon the growth of the Australian RTD category, to become a major player in the space.

 “We’re into our third year in-market this October and the last two years have seen such incredible success for the brand with over 27 million cans of White Claw sold since launch.”

The new release will join the existing Mango, Watermelon, Natural Lime and Ruby Grapefruit White Claw products already available.

White Claw Pineapple launches on Monday, 26 September, and will be available from bottle shops and ‘coastal bars’, with an RRP of $24 per four-pack. White Claw is distributed by Lion in Australia.
