The new Pepperjack Shiraz Cabernet from Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) will be an off-premise exclusive to Dan Murphy’s and BWS.

Pepperjack Shiraz Cabernet will also be available on-premise and at the cellar door. A TWE spokesman stressed that the existing Pepperjack wines will continue to be available in all channels.

"This is part of our plan to further grow sales of our masstige and luxury portfolio of wines with the aim of growing the value of the wine category in Australia," he said.

"In November we will be launching an exciting new Pepperjack range of wines specially developed for the on-premise channel.

"We have wines that are exclusive to retailers, and we continue to work with all retailers across the TWE portfolio to find opportunities that drive category growth, and deliver wines and brands to meet their shoppers’ needs.

"This is across all channels and customers," the spokesman said.

  1. What a wank. They just sold out on one their potentially strong brands. No wonder Brands aren’t strong anymore in that portfolio bcause the brand custodians are so weak. Hang you head in shame.
