It’s been a busy time for the Cascade Brewery Co recently with the launch of a free iPhone application called the Cascade Brewer’s Nose and a new 60-second television commercial called ‘Feel’.
The new iPhone application features more than 500 Australian and international brews and will be a one-stop guide for beer enthusiasts.
The application features information on the Cascade range of beers, as well as other readily available Australian and international brews, including an overview of the 14 main beer styles and a series of food matches to help users find the perfect dish to accompany their favourite ale or lager.
Additionally, users can search for the closest stores, pubs and bars that stock their favourite beers via GPS technology.
The Cascade Brewery Co has also launched a new 60-second television commercial called ‘Feel’, currently airing in its home state of Tasmania.
The commercial was shot entirely in Tasmania and follows a brewer cycling to work, encountering local farmers, barley fields and even a Tasmanian Tiger along the way. All the while though, he’s talking to the camera – negotiating his path to the brewery by feel.
“This campaign really brings to life the Cascade Brewery and our 180-odd years of brewing expertise,” said CUB marketing director, Peter Sinclair.
“We love this ad and we think all of our Cascade fans will love it too,”
The TVC launch comes off the back of Cascade’s recently unveiled new art-deco style packaging for its craft beer range, updated packaging for its premium range and a national print and outdoor campaign in a bid to encourage people to revisit the Cascade brews and attract new drinkers to the brand.
