Fox Sports Venues (FSV) will on Wednesday (June 22) unveil a new look to its hotel, pub and club subscribers, with the addition of sports and music channels to the content packages available to venues.

The revamp hopes to provide better value for hoteliers in terms of variety of content, cost-savings and flexibility.

The new offering comes off the back of an extensive venue study, commissioned by Fox Sports Venues, which revealed that venues are increasingly looking at their entertainment offering as an antidote to anti smoking laws and pokie legislation.

FSV director, commercial & sales, Sarah Keith, said the new content packages for licensed venues took into account that many venues wanted to show live sport without being labeled as a ‘sports bar’.

”Venues, particularly pubs, are increasingly reluctant to be defined too narrowly preferring to be ‘all things’ to all patrons in order not only to maintain but attract new patronage,” she said.

”FSV focus over the last 12 months has been on research to better understand the changing market.

”Improving relationships with existing clients and their entertainment offering is very important to us.”

Keith has lead Fox Sport's new offering since starting with the company last January and will be hosting the launch event on June 22.
