Jameson Irish Whiskey has announced the upcoming launch of its most exclusive whiskey to date — Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve.

Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve contains a blend of aged whiskeys matured in port pipes to create depth, complexity and berry fruit notes. Only 1200 cases were produced for the inaugural batch with no date set for the making of a second batch.

Jameson master distiller, Barry Crockett, said the Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve showcased the distiller’s expertise.

“The careful creation of this triple distilled whiskey in specially commissioned and selected oak casks perfectly encapsulates the ultimate expression of Jameson craftsmanship,” Crockett said.

Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve is the forth member of the Jameson range, which includes Jameson’s Gold ReserveJameson 12 Year Old Special Reserve and Jameson 18 Year Old Limited Reserve.

Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve will be available at high-end bars and clubs from May.

Jameson is distributed in Australia by Pernod Ricard.
