An event to launch three new limited release wines into the Richmond Grove portfolio was held at the Brett Whiteley studio in Sydney last week.

Designed to reinforce Richmond Grove’s theme of ‘special wines from special places’, the event reflected the historical and premium nature of the brand combined with an artistic Australian element.

Guests wandered through the gallery at their own pace and tasted the entire range of Richmond Grove limited release wines — each individually matched to a canapé.

They were Richmond Grove limited release Watervale Riesling served with mini crab sandwiches; limited release Adelaide Hills Pinot Grigio served with mini bocconcini; limited release Adelaide Hills Chardonnay served with butterflied king prawn; limited release Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir served with grilled quail breast; limited release Mount Lofty Range Sangiovese served with three mushroom ragout tartlet; limited release Barossa Shiraz served with beef fillet béarnaise on mini toast; and Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon served with bitter Belgian chocolate truffles

Richmond Grove is distributed in Australia by Pernod Ricard Pacific.
