Sharp's new LCD monitor ideal for pubs
Japanese electronics giant Sharp has launched a new large-format LCD monitor it says is ideally placed to service the power and longevity requirements of pubs and clubs.
The PN-R903 90-inch professional LCD monitor was launched in response to industry calls for more robust and energy-efficient viewing solutions.
Ideal for 24-hour use and measuring 2.05 x 1.2 metres, it is the largest commercial LCD monitor currently available in Australia and can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
Proprietary image enhancing technology improves response speed and viewing angles while delivering deep blacks and bright vivid colours, and powerful light output means the picture is clearly visible even in bright lighting, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor usage.
Speaking to TheShout, Sharp Corporation of Australia national marketing manager Mark Beard said the unit is lighter and more efficient than existing available LCD displays.
“Pubs and clubs have positioned themselves as the entertainment hub within the community, providing entertainment and sporting zones using large screen technology,” he said.
“Sharp has recognised the growth in this sector and by developing large single panel displays has made installation and implementation so much easier.
“Pubs and clubs are aware of their very competitive environment as their patrons become more discerning and demanding, and hospitality venues need to review their current entertainment offering to keep an edge over their competition.”
