Ron de Jeremy, the premium 7-year-old rum that is named and branded after legendary adult entertainment star Ron Jeremy is set to enter the local market.

The ‘adult rum’ hails from Panama and has been hand crafted by the 72 year old Cuban-born renowned Master Blender Francisco ‘Don Pancho’ Fernandez, and it was recently nominated as Best New Golden Rum at the Golden Rum Barrel Awards in London.

“Ron de Jeremy is great – the taste is long and full, and the finish is smooth, which suits me perfectly. I am very proud of my Ron and I hope my many friends all over the world will have a chance to try it,” Ron Jeremy says.

The launch of the rum has been backed by an extensive communications campaign built around Jeremy's iconic image, which includes a slick and playful website that features various tongue-in-cheek videos promoting a range of Ron de Jeremy based cocktails.

The rum is available exclusively in Australia through Challenger Beverages with an RRP of $79.99.

“We are very excited to have this great brand in our portfolio. It’s clearly got a great brand story, but the great news is that the liquid is amazing,” Challenger Beverages managing director, Arno Lenior, says.

“Ron de Jeremy is sure to delight our customers, many of who have already started thinking of interesting names for their feature cocktails.”
